Week 39 {Wide Open Spaces} Thank you Bella for a great prompt.
This one is easy. The days are noticeably longer already and I can take photos again on my ride home from work. I love where I live – very rural. Lots of farms and wineries. Even though it is January, this photo has a great ‘spring’ feel to it, but we are not getting too comfortable – the typical January thaw will come to an end soon and the snows will return, but until then…enjoy! (Click on the photo for a larger view) Thanks for visiting.
Now head on over to Bella’s 52 Photos Project and see what everyone else has to share!
Until next time, Connie ![]()

Beautiful image. I love the crop, too – really emphasizes the wide-open-ness (hmm, that isn’t a word, is it?!).
Of course it’s a word 😉. Thank you! It was a glorious afternoon. Today is a different story – it’s -5C and dropping! Eek!
It’s definitely wide open. It interested me to hear you say it reminded you of spring. Nothing like my idea of spring, but then I don’t have to deal with snow very often, and never want to. =)
Oh there are days that I have had my fill of dealing with snow, but actually like the 4 distinct seasons. You would probably love it here in the summer.
Great composition! You can’t beat fresh food and wine!
Beautiful. The sunset is amazing!
It certainly is a wonderful place to live
