You may or may not have heard that it snowed in the North-East yesterday. Understatement, right? It was a really big storm. Lots of blowing snow. Many people received much more snow that we did. I hope that they all made it through safely! However, this morning the sun is shining (though it is very cold) and I went out to take a few pictures to share…
So grab a coffee or hot chocolate and take a peak! Remember that you can see a larger image by clicking on the photo.

Peter starting the big task of shovelling us out.

It is much deeper in areas where it drifted…this was the sheltered area beside the house.

The drift beside the car is not too deep.

This is what the back of my car looked like when I got home last night…

You can’t even see the steps (good thing we don’t use this entrance)

Drift around one of our big maples

You can’t even see the stream (but you can still hear it gurgle)

Wounderful winter pictures. Envy. No snow in Vienna these days. Warm greetings.
I like the snow, but this is a little too much! It is a great brisk morning to take pictures though! Hope you have a great day in Vienna with whatever you do too!
Beautiful pictures. I promise never to complain about getting four inches of snow again! Avis x
